Jasper is an affectionate stubby- tailed sweetheart who is ready to find his furever home! In a former home he did well with young children, small and large dogs and even livestock! He was reported to be a potty trained, playful boy who loved to be by his family’s side. Jasper is a staff and volunteer favorite at the shelter too- here’s what some of his friends have said:

“Jasper had a great time in playgroup today! I walked him back to his kennel, but we stopped at a picnic table on our way. He was friendly and enjoyed attention and pets. He took treats nicely. He was a good walker with just a slight pull, ignoring the other dogs he passed by. He was mellow, patient and enjoyed his time out.”

“Wow! What a great dog!! Jasper can be vocal and jumpy in his kennel but once out he is a complete joy. He was very affectionate in the yard and had wonderful manners with everyone he met. He wasn't jumpy, he took treats nicely, and he was wonderful with children. He has the most beautiful coat and the cutest little tail. That tail has a story of its own that we'll never learn, but it doesn't matter. He's a stunner of a pup and has such a great demeanor. Someone better gobble this guy up quick. You don't want to miss out.”

“One thing I noticed about Jasper is how gentle he was. He would sit for treats and take them with a super gentle mouth. One person who stopped by to see him mentioned how he loves to give kisses but knows his boundaries with them. Also, a cute family stopped by several times to see him (I think with the encouragement of their two young kids) and the kids loved asking Jasper to sit and giving him treats. Several dogs, small and large, walked by and he had no reactivity towards them. He was super friendly to all and warmed up quickly and would melt right into you for scratches on his ever so soft fur. He is one special dog and would like to say goodbye to shelter life.”

Jasper shares his kennel politely with another PACC pup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Jasper is a fantastic pup with so much love to give- come and meet him today!
