CENSUS DEADLINE CLOSE OF BUSINESS MONDAY OCTOBER 12, 2026 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR FOSTER

Name: Panchita Animal ID: A855749 Age: 2 years Weight: 44 lbs. Web Link: https://24petconnect.com/PimaAdoptablePets/Details/PIMA/A855749 About:

In most of Latin America, Panchita is a common, endearing nickname for women named Francisca. We aren’t sure if Panchita’s legal name is actually Francisca (she doesn’t have a driver’s license to show us), but we sure do find her endearing, so the name fits! Here’s what one friend at the shelter said:

“Panchita was a bit shy at first but very sweet. She mostly wandered on her own or found a nice shady spot to lay in the yard. She did accept pets and started to warm up and really like them. I think she will become very people-oriented with some more one on one time!”

Panchita is ready to bond with her future family- if you can give her the TLC and one-on-one attention she deserves, she’s ready to head home today! She has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Panchita today!!

Available for foster care (2+ weeks) or adoption through PACC.

Interested parties:

Must visit PACC before the COB Monday, October 12, 2026, deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. Some dogs may also require an introduction to any dogs they may potentially live with.
