In agriculture, a bumper crop happens when perfect growing conditions, such as ideal rainfall, sunshine, and soil nutrients, come together to produce a massive yield. Well, all of the doggy genetics must have aligned to create the perfect conditions to form our best boy, Bumper! Here’s what one volunteer said:

“Bumper is a super fun guy! We enjoyed playing with a squeaky turkey toy in the yard today and that perfectly fits his personality; he’s a big, beautiful turkey! We played a little fetch, we played a little tug and just had a great time! He hasn't quite gotten the return part of fetch down yet; I know he'd love to have more opportunities to learn that in a forever home! He's gentle, sweet, and his tail didn't stop wagging the whole time we were together. After playing for a bit, he explored the yard and he was curious but largely ignored other dogs passing by. He ended our time together pressed up against my knees enjoying pets.”

Bumper is the perfect age at three years old and still has plenty of puppy energy left! He loves to play with other dogs and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. If you’re looking for a dog who will play hard and love hard, look no further than Bumper!
