Chico is an athletic, bouncy pup who would love to be your adventure buddy! In fact, he recently headed out of the shelter for a day trip and got to explore Tucson and grab a pup cup. He did well in the car and was described as energetic, sweet and well- behaved:

“Chico was excited the whole time- it was cute. Sweet puppy who will be great in an active home.”

Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:

“Chico is a character! He loves to roll around on his back in the cool grass. He makes me laugh because when I ask him to sit, he will sit but then flops over and wiggles around on his back. He’s a friendly goofball. In his excitement to be out walking, he’ll pull on the leash occasionally, but he’s otherwise an energetic, good walking companion who likes to explore and interact with the person walking him. He’s a good boy!”

If you’re looking for a pal to join you on your journeys and stick by your side on your escapades, Chico is your guy! Chico is also a big fan of doing a full body dunk in the doggy pool, so if you have a pool all the better! He’s shared his kennel politely and has been playful and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Chico today!
