One of the tools that the shelter volunteers and staff use are called walker boards. These dry erase boards list all of the kennels, dogs, and any important notes about each dog. A few dogs have big yellow stars next to their names indicating that they are “Play Group Rockstars”! This means that these dogs do great with lots of other dogs in the shelter’s daily enrichment playgroups. One such rockstar is lovely boy Milo! Here’s what some of his friends have said:

“In addition to being a playgroup rockstar, Milo is a rockstar when meeting new people too! I met him in a play yard today and he is a friendly, independent guy! He had just come from playgroup when I met him and he was tuckered out from all of the fun. He was calm and came right up to me to say hello. I discovered that this boy loves treats- They will be a great motivator for training him in his forever home. After exploring the yard for a little bit and letting me do a little photo shoot, he sat contentedly next to me as I pet and cuddled him. I got a few little ear nuzzles as we sat together and enjoyed the morning. He’s a great boy!”
